The following terms and conditions are applicable to all transactions completed on mercedesgps.com. Together with our privacy policy, these terms and conditions govern the relationship between you and us, in relation to this website.

Your use of this site indicates that you accept these terms and conditions.

The terms and conditions displayed here will always be our most up-to-date version, so if you wish to a retain a copy of the terms and conditions applicable at the time of your purchase, you should print a copy for future reference. By placing an order, you are accepting that the terms listed may change at any time.

General

Your statutory rights are in no way affected by these terms and conditions.

If you wish to place an order on this website, you must be at least 18 years of age, and be able to accept a delivery within the UK.

Each order of goods will be treated as an offer to purchase the goods, subject to the terms and conditions stipulated here.

All communications and contracts between ourselves and our customers are to be in English.

The product information, images and specifications published on this website, have been provided by our suppliers, the manufacturers, publications or are from public-domain sources. We intend for all information displayed on this website to be as accurate and timely as possible, however, we cannot guarantee the accuracy of the information.

When we supply accessories with a product, these are subject to change or upgrade at the discretion of the manufacturer.

Payment And Price

When you place your order we will stipulate a total price payable. We reserve the right to change the published price of any goods. We may need to do this if the published price was incorrect, if our supplier's prices change, or we need to allow for any taxes or duties. We will always notify you of the price change and you will have the option of cancelling the order if you wish.

When you place an order, you will receive an email confirming that we have received your request. We will accept your order, once we have received full payment.

Payment Methods

MercedesGPS.com accept payment by Paypal, Discover, Visa, Mastercard, Maestro and Amercian Express.

If none of these payment methods are possible for you, we can accept a cheque, postal order or bank transfer. This may result in a delay dispatching your order, as it can take up to 14 days for payments to clear.

When you place your order, the billing address and telephone number must match the details your credit card, or there may be a delay in processing your order.

Orders will not be dispatched until payment has been cleared, regardless of payment method used.

Availability Of Goods

All the products and services offered on MercedesGPS.com are subject to availability, and we can withdraw them at any time. If we are unable to supply goods, we will not charge you for them, and any money you have already been paid will be refunded. However, you will not be compensated for any losses resulting from our withdrawal of the goods.

Items listed in our special offers section is of limited availability, so we cannot guarantee fulfillment of your order. You will not be charged if we are unable to supply an item.

Packages described as 'exclusive' are exclusively available through us, to the best of our knowledge.

Delivery Details

Delivery charges are displayed at checkout and included in the total cost of your order.

Smaller stock items will be delivered within 1-3 working days. Larger items may take 5-7 working days.

We will provide an approximate date for delivery at checkout, but we will not be liable for any losses, costs, damages, charges or other expenses caused by a delay in the delivery of the goods.

If the item you have ordered is out of stock, we will notify you. If the delay in delivery is more than 14 days, you have the right to cancel the order, and we will provide a refund of any money paid.

Ownership Of Goods

Once we have received your cleared payment in full you become the full owner of the goods.

We will deliver only to the address supplied on the order and we will not leave goods without a signature. Once you delivery of the goods has been made, the goods become your responsibility.

In the unlikely event that there is any damage to the goods, shortage in quantity or the incorrect goods have been supplied, the details should be written on the consignment note at the time of delivery, and you must inform us within two working days.

You must notify us within 10 working days of the expected delivery date if you have not received your order, or we will not accept liability for goods lost in transit.

Product Guarantees

The products we supply are covered by a manufacturers guarantee for 12 months. This guarantee excludes faults caused by accident, neglect or, misuse of the product. Your statutory rights are not affected.

Installations

When we supply and install a product, we are not responsible for any damage that occurs to the vehicle or goods after the vehicle has left our premises.

In the event of a hardware failure following installation, we will uphold the manufacturer's guarantee, and endeavour to get a replacement product or reach a solution to your satisfaction.

Returns

The Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000 (DSR) apply if you are a UK based consumer and you do not collect the items from us. This allows you to cancel a contract, by email or letter, within seven working days, starting the day after you receive the goods. After cancelling the contract the goods must be returned in unused condition, within 3-4 working days. We will then provide a full refund within 30 days of the cancellation of the contract.

Personalised goods, special order items and disks or software that have been opened are not covered by the DSR and cannot be returned.

We may accept unwanted goods that are unopened and undamaged, at our discretion. There may be a restocking fee and you will be responsible for delivery costs. You must contact us before making any return.

If you return goods to us claiming they are damaged, but they are found to be perfect, we will return the goods to you, and charge an administration and restocking fee, amounting to 30% of the cost of the goods, plus the cost of the return delivery.

Your statutory rights are unaffected by these terms and conditions.

Force Majeure

We will accept no liability for failure or delay caused entirely, or in part by an Act of God, war, fire, explosion, riot, terrorism, strikes, restriction by Government, or failure in supplies beyond our control.

Enforcement Of Terms And Conditions

If we choose not to enforce any of these terms and conditions, are right to enforce the remainder of the terms and conditions will be unaffected.

Our terms and conditions may change at any time, without prior notice given to you.

In the event of disputes, the law of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland applies.
